SMPTE Splice Enclosure, 2RU Angled In, 8 Plug w/slide rails

Clarks first to market 8 channel SMPTE splice enclosures changed the industry standard for stadium and arena hybrid fiber camera installations. The MPAS-SH system offers the same modular design with up to 8 connections using various combinations of SMPTE 304M plugs, sockets, opticalCON or other specified formats as the MPAS series, with the added feature of a slide out rail system. The rails are designed with a tab release locking feature to hold the panel in place when fully set and an indent out feature when extended to hold in place while being accessed through the unique hinged lid.

The singular enclosure eliminates the need for a separate splice box. The rear modules have the ability to accept single channel, 3 channel, or 4 channel SMPTE cables and can be modified per specific requirements. Each systems includes all of the necessary hardware, mating connectors, splice sleeves and trays.

New and updated features include a rear cable support bar offering increased stability and cable organization as well as a removeable and replaceable laser engraving plate.
