Clark can supply a wide variety of audio cables suited for both field and studio use. Whether you need a few mic cables or a wiring harness for an entire new studio we can supply quality cable assemblies with reasonable lead times. If you are involved in remote production the Custom Cable Assembly Department has the expertise to provide broadcast standard multipin cable assembly systems including breakout and feedthrough boxes, fanouts, and cable reel systems. We also have extensive experience in sound reinforcement wiring systems and can provide up to 58 pair snake systems including stage boxes and splitters with multipin interfaces as well as simple fan to fan audio snakes.

Modular Digital Multitrack Harnesses
Clark Wire & Cable was one of the industries first suppliers of custom MDM cable assemblies with the ability to provide custom harnesses of the highest quality within reasonable delivery times.

In addition to standard XLR and 1/4" TRS fanouts, we have provided many custom tape I/O assemblies to interface with a wide variety of multipin console wiring systems. These include wiring specifications with floated shields for star grounding schemes. We stock all the necessary components for the ADAT, DA-88, and RD-8 modular digital multitracks for both balanced and unbalanced wiring configurations. We specialize in non-standard cable assemblies. Many larger consoles have the inputs and outputs spaced fairly far apart and off the shelf fanouts are often to short to span the distance. We can supply custom cable lengths for all your MDM's. "Stock" harnesses can often cause confusion tangles behind your board and in your racks. Clark custom assemblies eliminate tangles, loops of cable and confusion in your studio.

Digital Cable Assemblies
Clark can supply standard AES/EBU twisted pair assemblies as well as SPDIF coaxial assemblies. Our 800 Series Digital Audio Cables include the 802 'zip' 2 pair cable which is ideal for interconnects between hard disk systems and DAT recorders. The 804, 808 and 812 Digital Audio Snakes are designed for larger digital audio plants such as broadcast and duplication facilities.
