Do you use multi-pin camera cables (ie: Sony 26-pin and others)? Have you had trouble with intermittents or damaged connectors?

Clark Wire & Cable's Custom Termination Shop is now prepared to provide maintenance on your camera cables.

Rather than purchasing entirely new, factory-original, cable assemblies at premium prices, Clark can refurbish your existing cables. Often, cables become intermittent within 1-2 feet of the connector due to additional stress in that area of the cable. We will typically remove 2-3 feet of cable from each end, then test the cable for shorts and opens. If this proves to be successful, we will then address the connectors. In some cases, the original connectors can be salvaged; although it is usually desirable to replace them with new connectors to assure added years of service life.

During the repair process, we can optionally add protective rubber boots to cover the connectors for field use.
