XLR_EMC

The EMC-XLR Series is a specifically designed version of the XX series to give enhanced RF screening for critical applications in live performance and recording where there are particular problems with radio transmission or mobile phones.

The design guarantees a continuous RF shield connection from the cable to the chassis connector housing via a circular capacitor around the cable shield. An EMI suppression ferrite bead between pin 1 and the cable screen provides a low-pass filter for improved RF rejection.

Perfect for RF sensitive applications (live and broadcast), the 3-pole male/female XLR cable connector features integrated LC-filter to avoid RF-interference and LF-noise. Its 360° shield contact on female connector ensures the best possible shielding and chassis contact. Other applications include:mission critical installations (Recording studios, Broadcast Facilities, Conference rooms, etc.): nearby radion systems, cell phone, lighting installations, or other RF interference.

Note: The standard Neutrik 6 pin is made to IEC and EIA standards, it will not mate with Switchcraft's 6 pin connectors. If necessary to interface with a Switchcraft 6 pin order part number NC6MXS or NC6FXS.
