RG11HD

Clark Wire & Cable, an innovator in the broadcast industry for the past 18 years has developed a digital RG11 type cable.

To meet customer demands for an extended distance, high end cable, Clark has incorporated a gas injected foam dielectric as well as a foil plus a 95% tinned copper braid shield for effective broadband shielding to this product. "broadcast engineers have been chopping at the bit for an extended distance, precision video cable and since Clark has always developed product around customer wants and needs, we feel that our RG11-HD cable fits the bill", said Dan Collins Director of Sales and Marketing for Clark Wire & Cable. The addition of this cable rounds out an already extensive line of cable products and accessories.

Meeting Expectations
Meeting Expectations In today's market the need for exacting video at longer distances is of utmost importance. It's not uncommon for engineers to push distance limits and still hope to maintain error free transmission. In the digital realm signals extend to hundreds of megabits so there is little room for error. A high velocity of propagation and high frequency response are extremely important. Clark's RG11-HD cable has been designed to meet these expectations by providing a nominal Velocity of Propagation of 83%.

Customer Response

Customer Response Although this product has previously made its debut, much of this cable has already been installed through out the country. Shane Collins, Vice President of Sales says "the response to our RG11-HD has been just unbelievable. We have already sold miles of this cable before we've even had a chance to release it. Adding this cable to our line of digital coax cables allows our customers the ability to choose what truly is needed instead of having to buy what's available on the floor".

The RG11-HD has brought the number of digitally rated cables Clark offers up to 11. It appears that Clark Wire & Cable is truly ready for the digital age.
