Clark Wire & Cable is expanding their range of specialized optical fiber assemblies to include the T-FOCA series of tactical, hermaphroditic connectors assemblies.
Originally developed for military applications, the T-FOCA connector format delivers up to twelve channels of optical fiber interfacing in an ultra-rugged and weather sealed design. Built to mil-spec requirements, T-FOCA connectors can handle high-level mating cycles, tensile loads, and moisture in indoor or hostile environments. The hermaphroditic, reversible-gender mating interface allows for cables to quickly be configured for end-to-end or cable daisy chaining without additional parts or adapters.
T-FOCA cable assemblies are terminated with Clark’s military or broadcast grade tactical fiber for exceptional crush, bend and flex-life performance. Custom built to order, T-FOCA assemblies can be produced to user length requirement and packaged as coils or pre-loaded on ruggedized cable reelers.
Clark T-FOCA assemblies are available as multi-mode or single-mode types, in 2, 4, 6 or twelve channel configurations.
