Video Data Formats:
HDMI supports RGB, 4:4:4 YCbCr & 4:2:2 YCbCr.
Up to 24 bits per pixel can be transferred. For 640 x 480 resolution, RGB data has a range of 0-255. For YCbCr data and other RGB resolutions, data has a range of 16-235 (please note 16-240 for Cb and Cr values less than 16 or greater than 235/240 may be occasionally present due to processing). |
Audio Data Formats :
Supports compressed audio formats such as Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital EX, DTS, DTS EX. Audio support consists of 1-8 uncompressed audio streams with a sample rate of up to 48, 96 or 192 kHz, depending on the video format. |
Consumer Electronics Control (CEC) Format :
Supports the CEC format based on the AV link protocol & can be controlled with a universal remote that is used with multiple HDMI sources such as DVD players or satellite set-top boxes. |
